Hotel Ambassador
Job Description
The hotel ambassador is the face our clients will put on the hotel, from check-in to check-out, the ambassador will be present to assist them with their needs, answer their questions, guide them in their activities in the region and finalize their invoice during or after their check-out.
Required Skills
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Interpersonal skills, professionalism and being a team player
- Punctuality, autonomy and resourcefulness
- Available to work in the evenings and on weekends and working a flexible schedule
- Proficient with computer software, experience with hotel PMS an asset
- General knowledge of the Eastern Townships tourism region an asset
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
Main Tasks
- Assist guests with their check-in and their arrival at the hotel
- Adequately assign the rooms to our guests according to their requests and the hotel’s directives
- Familiarize yourself with events in the hotel and the area
- Take and manage upcoming reservations
- Familiarize yourself with the hotel’s procedures and manage guest transactions
- Make sure the ambassador daily tasks are taken care of
- Share the daily information on check outs, unit status, deliveries and VIPs with the housekeeping team
- Respond adequately to our guests’ questions about the facilities and services around hotel as well as assisting them with reservations if need be
